Boschenmeer Golf and Country Estate is the home of Paarl golf course, the only 27 hole course in the Western Cape and the first David Frost signature course in South Africa. The course consists of the Berg River Nine (1-9), the Paarl Nine (10-18) and the Boschenmeer Nine (19-27). The first two nines are parkland while the Boschenmeer Nine is more of a links style. The whole course provides an exciting challenge for all standards of golfer and the wide variety of holes in a stunningly beautiful setting means that you are unlikely to get bored.

The fairways are kikuyu grass and the greens are bent grass. Each 18 is a par 72 in excess of 6000 metres. There is also a high tech golf academy and driving range where you can iron out the rough spots in your game.

The hub of the complex is the brand new club house that was built at a cost of £1 million. European golfers will find the facilities are excellent yet the prices are extremely reasonable. Green fees are R350 (£22) for non-members, R180 (£12) for Affiliated members. Temporary membership can be purchased for about £100 per month. Temporary members then have to pay a nominal green fee of £3.50 per round.

Those golfers who like to play different courses will be spoilt for choice in the local area. We can arrange packages for you covering such renowned courses as Erinvale (the home of the South African Open), Royal Cape, Stellenbosch and many more, all of which are within a 30 minute drive.
